Background - We have been advised by OOA that our annual ground rent will increase from £5,500 to £6,000 for season 2009-2010, which equates to a 9% increase. Please see breakdown showing the cost of this spread across each team in the club. This additional cost of £500 needs to be covered through our income and the committee are therefore proposing a £5 increase in annual subs for full members and schoolboys/unemployed. Based on last year, we collected 70 full annual subscriptions, which would equate to additional income of £350 this seasonal which covers most of the increase in ground rent.

Matchday Subs guidelines

Home fixtures - Each team should aim to collect a minimum of £110 for every home game. The only exception should be when schoolboys/unemployed players are present.

"Away fixtures - See list below outlining the subs for nominated drivers at each of the away teams we face.

Each team should collect the following (except when schoolboys/unemployed players are present):-

Full subs fixtures = Minimum of £110

Half Sub fixtures = Minimum of £90, which allows for a maximum of four drivers paying £5 each.

Nil Sub fixtures = Minimum of £70, which allows for a maximum of four drivers paying £0 each.

Note: Players who choose to travel direct to the game alone are not classed as a driver, and therefore must pay full subs!"
